About The Lickerish Quartet Music Artists…
The Lickerish Quartet (band) is comprised of keyboardist Roger Manning, guitarist Eric Dover, and bassist Tim Smith all former members of the supergroup Jellyfish. After Jellyfish’s breakup in 1994, Roger and Eric formed the band ‘Imperial Drag’ and Tim formed 1/2 of the band Umajets & recorded the album Demolotion in 1995 with the assistance of both Eric and Roger.
The Lickerish Quartet began in 2017 when Manning asked Smith to collaborate musically focusing on “pop/rock” that they both loved, and then reaching out to Dover to complete the Trio… The Lickerish Quartet initially worked together with several song writing & creative idea sessions… ultimately produced 12 songs together. Jeremy Stacey was then recruited to help play drums for the band’s studio recordings.
The Lickerish Quartet announced in March 2020 their first EP entitled: “Threesome Vol. 1” with the band’s first four debut tracks ‘Lighthouse Spaceship’, ‘Fadoodle’, ‘Bluebird’s Blues’, and ‘There Is A Magic Number’. The Threesome Volume One EP was released on May 15 through Lickerish Quartet/Label Logic.
